The Clerk and Master serves the citizens through its administration of the Chancery Court of Henderson County, Tennessee. Services available through the office include Adoptions, Child Support, Civil Case Suits, Conservatorships, Divorces, Guardianships, Partition and Boundary Disputes and Probate.

The Honorable James F. Butler serves as the Chancellor for the Twenty-sixth Judicial District, which consists of Madison, Henderson and Chester Counties. Leigh J. Milam has held the position of Clerk and Master since May 1999. The Clerk and Master acts as the principle administrative aide to the Chancery Court, provides assistance in the areas of courtroom administration and records management, communication, and various other court-associated duties.
